User roles and use of the management console

All WMO Members, either operating or intending to operate weather radar systems in support of the WMO Integrated Global Observing System (WIGOS), should nominate a National Focal Point for Weather Radar Metadata who would have responsibility for seeding and maintaining the weather radar metadata within the WRD.

Individuals registered as National Focal points in WRD are given specific limited authorization to change information in the WRD database via the management console. They are authorized to manipulate only stations in their country or territory of responsibility.
